Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
The new book I am reading is by Lewis Carroll called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The first chapter is called Down the Rabbit Hole. Alice is sitting by the riverbank a white rabbit runs by her wearing glasses, and a vest. As he runs by he pulls out a pocket watch. Alice is very interested in this rabbit so she follows him to see where he is going. Well Rabbit goes down a rabbit hole and Alice decides to go down it too, she is falling slowly and for a long time, as she is going down she notices that there are cupboards and shelves that are covering the wall. She starts to talk to herself and then BOOM she hits the bottom of the hole. As she is exploring down there she finds a door that door is locked. She sees a key and trys to use that to open it but it doesn't work. She saw a curtain, pushes it aside she finds another door, she trys the key and it opens but that door is very very small and Alice can't fit so she goes back to the table and finds a bottle that says "DRINK ME" she drinks it and then Alice becomes very very small, small enough to fit through the door. She then realizes that she left the key on the table high above her. She is very upset, Alice finds a piece a cake that says "EAT ME" she eats it and hopes that it will change her size but it doesn't. My connection would be from this book to the movie, there is a Alice and Wonderland movie, i like the old version better then the new version and it is just like the book but they just make it come to life in the movie I really like the book a little better then the movie which is surprising because I am a visual person.

ReplyDeleteThe book sounds exactly like the original version of Alice and Wonderland. Personally, I don't think I would read this book because it seems like it could be confusing, but that's just me. I hope you enjoy your book Sarah :]
